NEW OLIVE OIL FESTIVAL
of Mont-roig del Camp

With autumn and the arrival of its exquisite fruits comes one of the gastronomic pleasures all foodies have been waiting for: the new olive oil of Mont-roig del Camp. An extra virgin arbequina olive oil that releases the aromas of unfiltered fresh-pressed oil and transports you to the very moment of harvest and mill pressing… Next Sunday, 3 November, come to the Municipal Sports Centre of Mont-roig del Camp, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and you can taste fresh-pressed oil from local producers and take part in a raffle and many other activities.
Live the gastronomy, choose local consumption, and you will add value to the sustainability and quality of the golden elixir of the Costa Daurada.

You can sign up until 31 October 2024 by filling in the registration slip you will find by clicking here or at the OMAC offices of Mont-roig and Miami Platja and at the L’Espai office.
PARTICIPATION RULES FOR THE ALLIOLI CONTEST
- Anyone can take part in the contest. Registration is free.
- The ingredients needed to make the allioli will be provided by the organization (olive oil, garlic, salt and eggs).
- Participants must bring their own mortar, pestle and any other utensils they consider necessary to manually prepare the allioli “in situ” on the day of the contest.
- From among all participants, the jury will taste and select the best allioli. The jury’s decision will be final.
- The jury will be made up of members of various entities and associations of the municipality and of local olive oil producers.
- The jury’s decision will be announced on the same day of the contest.
- The winner will receive a prize consisting of a supply of olive oil for the whole year.
- During the contest, the Mont-roig del Camp Town Council will make recordings and/or take photographs to publicize and promote this event through the Town Council’s usual communication channels.
- To take part in the contest, you must fill in the slip provided by the organization before the indicated date and submit it to any OMAC or send it by email to promocio@mont-roig.cat.
- Any unforeseen circumstances that may arise will be resolved at the discretion of the organization.

We encourage you to take part in the raffle held on the occasion of the New Olive Oil Festival of Mont-roig.
On the very day of the New Olive Oil Festival, you can enter the raffle for fresh-pressed oil by purchasing oil from local producers or with the breakfast ticket. Ask for the slip and place it in the ballot box that will be at each stand of each local producer. Good luck!
