TOURISM SUSTAINABILITY PLAN IN MONT-ROIG DEL CAMP AND MIAMI PLATJA
In Mont-roig del Camp and Miami Platja we want to build a more sustainable, competitive, and environmentally respectful tourism future.
That is why we are promoting the Tourism Sustainability Plan, an initiative financed by the State, the Generalitat, and the Town Council, which helps us transform our tourism model.
This plan allows us to adapt to the new global tourism challenges, betting on development that combines people’s well-being, environmental protection, and a strong and innovative local economy.
With this project we aim to:
• Highlight our natural and cultural heritage.
• Strengthen the local economic fabric and the tourism sector.
• Improve the visitor experience and the quality of life of our citizens.
WE ARE PART OF THE SMART TOURIST DESTINATIONS NETWORK (RED DTI)
Since 2024, Mont-roig del Camp and Miami Platja have been recognized as an accredited Smart Tourist Destination (period 2024–2026), a recognition that integrates us into the Smart Tourist Destinations Network (DTI) promoted by SEGITTUR, an entity under the Ministry of Industry and Tourism of the Government of Spain.

MORE NATURAL BEACHES, MORE SUSTAINABLE BEACHES
Since 2020, in Mont-roig del Camp and Miami Platja we have been promoting a strategy of beach naturalization with the aim of preserving our coastal environment and addressing the effects of climate change.
This project seeks to transform beach management to make it more environmentally friendly, reducing the impact of human activity and raising awareness among residents and visitors.
